Real Madrid and Olympiacos interested in player with 7 NBA seasons
Real Madrid and Olympiacos are closely monitoring the situation of John Konchar, who is a free agent after seven seasons in the NBA. The 30-year-old recently tried to earn a roster spot with the New York Knicks but left training camp for personal reasons.
According to basketball insiders, the two European giants are keeping a close eye on the 30-year-old forward.
Last season with the Utah Jazz, Konchar averaged 5.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 1 block in 26.2 minutes per game.
Ahead of the new season, Konchar tried to win a place in the New York Knicks squad during preseason training camp, but no long-term deal materialised. His departure was attributed to personal reasons, which increases the likelihood that he will continue his career in European club competitions.
