Spain international ready to leave the Premier League, Barça and Real monitoring the situation

Pedro Porro wants to leave Tottenham and return to Spain, with both Barcelona and Real Madrid interested in the right-back. According to Spanish media, he is open to a move as early as the January transfer window, despite signing a new contract with Spurs until 2031 this summer.

Porro has established himself as a key figure at Tottenham, but the start of this season has been difficult for him due to physical problems. The Spain international has missed several games, which has also affected his involvement in the national team’s recent matches. His new deal makes him one of Spurs’ highest-paid players, further complicating any potential transfer.

Barcelona see Porro as an option to strengthen the right side of their defence, but would first need to sell Jules Koundé before making a concrete move. Real Madrid are also keeping tabs on the situation, and their interest is not new: in 2019, when Porro was at Girona, they tried to sign him. The defender eventually joined Manchester City instead, before continuing his career at Sporting Lisbon and Tottenham.
